Hey and welcome to my website. I made this thing because, well, why not? Despite everything, the internet is awesome, and I wanted to carve out my own little nook. This site is a personal meditation - a relearning and regrowing of some of the things I'd lost and forgotten - and a place for me to share thoughts and quirks that make me, me. Why did you make this?

Twitter died (was sabotaged), and it got me thinking about the old web - browsing, exploring, and figuring things out as a kid. Further reading on the subject deepened my belief that the independent, "old" web is an important, needed part of both the internet and society; a jab against commoditisation and homogenisation. Somewhere along that spiral, I came across Neocities and was inspired by the amazing sites people have made there. Real labours of love. So, the point of this site is two-fold. Firstly, it's my attempt to recreate that feeling of early internet wonder and exploration, when the web was a chaotic, creative space. Along the way, I hope to mess with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, relearning some of what I lost when the internet stopped being something you could truly experience. Secondly, it's a +1 to the independent web and my support for its vibrancy. And if I can burn some corpo shit along the way, that's even better. I’ll fill these pages with whatever sparks my interest - musings, experiments, and maybe even something worth sharing. Welcome.
